Subsec. (a): Statute requires that an offer of compromise be filed while claims remain pending against a defendant in the trial court and prior to the time judgment has been rendered for that defendant. 224 CA 501.

Privilege given to “persons” over 65 years of age does not extend to corporate entities in existence over 65 years; legislative intent construed. 22 CS 156.
