## Text

Any person shall be qualified to receive a certificate of registration to practice as a registered barber who: (1) Is qualified under this chapter; (2) Has passed a satisfactory examination conducted by the State Board of Barber Examiners to determine his or her fitness to practice barbering; (3) Is at least sixteen and one-half (161/2) years of age; and (4) Has received training approved by the appropriate licensing authorities. Amended by Act 2019, No. 990,§ 23, eff. 7/24/2019. Amended by Act 2017, No. 1060,§ 13, eff. 8/1/2017.
