## Text

A.03
On receipt of the copy of the foreign judgment, the Notice of Filing, and the affidavit, the clerk shall:
(1)
Promptly open a case number file, and
(2)
Issue a summons to be delivered for service to any person authorized to serve process for service upon the judgment debtor, including a copy of the Notice of Filing to be served upon the judgment debtor, a copy of the foreign judgment authenticated in accordance with the Acts of Congress or the statutes of this state, and a copy of the Affidavit filed by the judgment creditor or the judgment creditor's lawyer.
