The current requirements for certificates can be found on our CPC business guidance page and GCC business guidance page . In addition to the updates to certificate content, all importers of a consumer product subject to CPSC’s certification requirement must electronically file (eFile) the certificate data as of the effective dates noted above. The eFiling requirement for imported shipments does NOT apply to products that are domestically manufactured; however, manufacturers of such products must comply with the certificate content updates.
