National Drinking Water Advisory Council; Health Care Provider
Outreach and Education Working Group; Notice of Open Meeting

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: Under section 10(a)(2) of Public Law 92-423, ``The Federal
Advisory Committee Act,'' notice is hereby given that a meeting of the
Health Care Provider Outreach and Education Working Group of the
National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC) established under the
Safe Drinking Water Act, as amended (U.S.C. S300f et. seq.), will be
held on June 1, 1999, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on June 2,
1999, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., EST. The meeting will
be held at the Loews L'Enfant Plaza Hotel, 480 L'Enfant Plaza, SW,
Washington, DC, (202) 484-1000. The meeting is open to the public, but
seating will be limited.
The purpose of this meeting is to review the Health Care Provider
Outreach and Education Working Group's progress in preparing draft
strategic recommendations to NDWAC, including key issues and messages.
The group will also discuss approaches and networks to disseminate
information to health care professionals on drinking water issues.
Statements from the public will be taken as time allows.
