The letter explamed that "[1}f this account was opened during the reporting period, the information required in Columns D(1)-(3) should have been provided.” For clarification, my wife and 1 did open Arvest deposit accounts during 2016. The source of those deposits was my wife's severance income (paid in 2016) when she ended her employment contract (at the end of 2015) with a previous employer. For tax purposes this was treated as personal income to my wife, Additionally, in June 2016 we sold our home. The equity proceeds from that sale were deposited into the Arvest deposit accounts. In July 2016 we purchased a lot and began building a new house --- using the equity proceeds from our old house (that were deposited into the Arvest accounts) during the building process -- that occurred during 2016 and 2017. In Section VII, Line 1, an “investment” is listed called "TLB & MBB Family Investments, LLC." The audit report for the financial disclosure report shows an error here --- presumably because there is no "income" reported for this entry. This LLC is the vehicle through which my wife and | own an interest in an old family farm. The property is being held long term.
