WEAVER, J.
{dissenting). I dissent from this Court’s decision to reverse the Court of Appeals and remand for a new trial. I would affirm the judgment of the Court of Appeals for the reasons stated in its unpublished opinion on remand, specifically, that the declarant’s statements were made in the course of a police interrogation under circumstances objectively indicating that the interrogation’s primary purpose was to enable police assistance in an ongoing emergency.
