KENNEDY, Justice
(concurring in part and dissenting in part).
I dissent from that portion of the opinion that declares Act No. 88-897 unconstitutional. I concur with that portion of the opinion remanding to the trial court the issue of the uniform maintenance allowance raised in the F.O.P.’s cross-appeal.
